Play Care Schedule
Your child can spend time with our friendly staff while you workout!


Monday to Friday:
8:45am - Noon.

8:00am - 11:00am


Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
6:00pm - 8:30pm

Please Note:

  • Punch Passes are available at our Front Desk for convenient payment.
  • Limited Space - first come, first serve.
  • Maximum visit = 2 hours.
  • Parents MUST remain in the Stadium.

Red Cross Swim Pre-School

Starts: September 16th

Waterbabies (4 to 14 months) - This level focuses on introducing both the child and parent or caregiver to the aquatic environment.
Jellyfish (14 to 18 months) - Parents learn how to properly hold their children and select a PFD for them. Children are introduced to blowing bubbles, jumping in, and basic kick.
Starfish 1 (18 to 22 months) & Starfish 2 (23 to 26 months) - Parents learn how to recognize when their child is choking and the children are introduced to basic arm and leg movements.
Duck 1 (26 to 30 months) & Duck 2 (30 to 36 months) - Parents are shown how to respond if their child is choking. Children are introduced to floats and glides.
Platypus (33 to 36 months) - A Parent and child class designed for swimmers who have completed Duck 2 but are not old enough for Sea Turtle (under Age 3). Swimmers will be with their parents but skills will focus on becoming independent in the water. Child must of completed Duck 2.
Sea Turtle (3 to 5 yrs) - While learning basic swimming skills,children work towards becoming independent of their parent or caregiver. PREREQUISITE: 3 years of age. Children must be 3 feet tall in order to stand comfortably.
Sea Otter (3 to 5 years) - This is the first level for children 3 - 5 years old without a parent in the water. Children learn how to float and glide with assistance and go under water without goggles. PREREQUISITE: 3 years of age. Children must be 3 feet tall in order to stand comfortably.
Salamander (3 to 5 yrs) - Children learn how to float, jump-in, and swim on their own. PREREQUISITE: COMPLETED SEA OTTER.
Sunfish (3 to 5 yrs) - Children work on doing glides by themselves, swimming 5 meters, and are introduced to deep water. PREREQUISITE: COMPLETED SALAMANDER
Crocodile (3 to 5 yrs) - Children work on swimming in deep water,learn dolphin kick, and progressions for front crawl. PREREQUISITE: COMPLETED SUNFISH
Whale (3 to 5 yrs)- Children continue to work on skills in deep water and are taught basic front crawl. PREREQUISITE: COMPLETED CROCODILE

Thanksgiving Weekend

Saturday, October 11th - Monday, October 13th

The Fitness Centre and Women's Gym will be open regular hours over the weekend and holiday Monday. Swim Lessons will be cancelled from Saturday, October 11th - Monday, October 13th!


  • Group Exercise classes are on as scheduled.
  • CycleZone is on as scheduled.
  • Gymnastics, Soccer, and Dance are all cancelled.
  • Changes to the swim schedule: Morning Adult and Youth Lane are cancelled. There will be an Adult Lane swim from 4:30pm - 6:00pm. Everyone Welcome swims are on as scheduled.
  • Public skate is on as scheduled.
  • Child Care will be open.


  • Morning Adult and Youth lane are cancelled.
  • Adult Lane will be from 12:30pm - 1:45pm.
  • Everyone Welcome Swim will be from 1:40pm - 3:10pm
  • Member Lane Swim will be from 3:15pm - 4:15pm.
  • Pool will be closing at 4:15pm for the remainder of the day.
  • Karate is cancelled.
  • Group Exercise is cancelled (Yoga & Aqua Mix).
  • Public Skate is on as scheduled.


  • Changes to the swim schedule: Early Bird swim is cancelled and all swims after 4:00pm are cancelled.
  • Public Skate is on as scheduled.
  • Child Care is closed in the morning and evening.
  • Memberships is closed.
  • Aqua Mix is cancelled.
  • Land Group Exercise classes are on as scheduled.
  • GROM is cancelled.
  • Forever Young 55+ is cancelled.
  • Pilates is cancelled.
  • Kick Butt Bootcamp is cancelled.
  • Cycle Zone classes are on as scheduled.
