Jo is qualified as a Master Trainer with the European Institute of Fitness in 2007 and as a GP Exercise Referral Trainer in 2008. Jo is motivated to encourage a balance in healthy eating and exercise for longevity, fighting against lifestyle diseases and ensuring the journey is a fun one. Jo has been involved with sport and fitness from a very early age including representing the North of Scotland at the age of 12 in Badminton and continued in participating in many team sports through out her 17 year career in the Military. Her love of sport turned her towards Triathlon in 2005 and has competed in many races and in 2013 she completed her first full distance Ironman. She also has a love for the great outdoors not just in running, cycling and swimming for Triathlon but also hiking, mountain biking, sea kayaking, snow shoeing, snowboarding and cross country skiing. Jo has a vast and varied experience working with individuals and group training both indoors and outdoors inclusive of Group Cycling, Learn to Run, BootCamps, Aqua Circuits, Nordic Walking and Triathlon training to name a few.
Credentials - Master Trainer, GP Exercise Referral Trainer, Advanced Strength Trainer, Core Stability, Strike (kickboxing basics) Inst, Circuit Training Inst, Schwinn Group Cycling Instr, Aqua Circuits Inst, Aquatics Teaching Level 1, Nordic Walking Inst, Climbing Wall Supervisor and CPR First Aid trained.
